Interim Corporate Business Controller

Functie

As the companies Corporate Business Controller, you will lead the group’s consolidation activities with a strong focus on forward-looking financial analysis, while developing and implementing robust capital expenditure (CapEx) and rolling forecast processes. This role combines traditional controlling responsibilities with strategic financial planning initiatives and requires close collaboration with headquarters to ensure alignment with group standards and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
•    Drive the monthly forward looking consolidation process, incorporating forward-looking analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
•    Manage the monthly reporting and analyses process on actuals, including the management reporting.
•    Cashflow forecasting and analysis, including working capital, lease
•    Project: Develop predictive models and scenarios to enhance the quality of consolidated corporate financial projections.
•    Analyze consolidated results and provide meaningful insights to senior management.
•    Project: Design and implement a comprehensive CapEx FP&A framework, including evaluation criteria, approval workflows, and post-implementation reviews. Partner with business units to assess investment proposals and monitor project performance.
•    Project: Establish and maintain a rolling forecast process to improve financial planning accuracy and business agility. Lead forecast reviews with stakeholders and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Work closely with headquarters finance teams to harmonize processes, implement group initiatives, and ensure compliance with corporate requirements and reporting deadlines. Act as a key liaison between local operations and group finance.

Functie-eisen

•    MSc degree in Finance, Accounting (must), RC is a pre
•    5+ years of experience in controlling or FP&A roles, with consolidation/corporate controlling expertise
•    Located in Amsterdam, living close to Amsterdam.
•    40 Hours (2 day homeoffice possible)
•    Strong understanding of IFRS (lease accounting) and group reporting principles
•    Advanced Excel, PPT and ERP system knowledge
•    Proven ability to develop forward-looking financial models and scenarios
•    Strong business acumen and ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
•    Excellent analytical and communication skills (English)
•    Proven ability to work effectively with international teams and headquarters stakeholders
•    Strong intercultural communication skills
