The finance team currently consists of a Finance Lead, a Financial Controller and two Financial Specialists. Together with the Finance Lead you are the driving force behind planning and control. Making sure financial plans and policies are developed, implemented, and maintained to direct the activities of the business in realizing the defined objectives. Together with the Leadership Team, and internal and external stakeholders you enable the entire organization to make informed decisions based on accurate, complete, and timely financial results.

Functie

As part of the Leadership Team, you will report directly to the CEO on areas of responsibility including the following:

• Managing the planning & control cycle; determining, executing and monitoring financial planning, budgeting and forecasting;

• Translating the overall Effectory company strategy towards our North Star into relevant KPI’s, strategy maps and dashboards for overall performance management;

• Analyzing opportunities for investments and actively monitor, analyze and challenge performance against budget;

• Monthly reporting and analysis models that track performance of various units withing the organization;

• Develop financial models to assess the scalability of the business and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth;

• Together with Leads and teams align financial goals with overall business objectives and challenge them on business savvy financial topics in terms of revenue (growth), costs and spending, etc.;

• Stay informed about advancements in financial technologies relevant to the SaaS industry;

• Consulting with supervisory board, private equity shareholders, and external accountants.

 

Functie-eisen

You hold proven experience as a CFO or similar financial leadership position in a, preferably international, growth environment. Our ideal candidate has a background in the SaaS industry and knows what is necessary to enable the growth of a subscription-based product.

• Strong knowledge and experience of debt/leverage management and private equity is a must;

• You have international experience, including managing financial operations in multiple countries or dealing with cross-border transactions;

• Previous experience with supporting growth through partnerships, mergers & acquisitions is preferred;

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear and actionable insights;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and presenting financial information to non-financial teams;

• You have a pro-active and entrepreneurial mindset and are familiar with business information systems and their impact on financial operations;

• You have experience with further automating organizations like for instance automating marketing with tools like HubSpot;

• You have a relevant master’s degree in Finance, Economics and/or Accounting. Post master degree in controlling is an advantage (RC/RA/CMA);

• Experience with (financial) reporting systems (implementing & managing);

• Fluency in English and Dutch.
